Kara is a Cheyenne native that graduated from East High School in 2004. After high school, Kara attended Cheeks Academy of Beauty Culture and acquired a Cosmetology license through the State of Wyoming in 2010. Around 2014, Kara started working for the Wyoming Department of Family Services. Four of those years were spent working with the Child Protection Unit.  In 2020, Kara completed and received her Associates of Applied Sciences, Paralegal Degree, through Laramie County Community College. Kara began working for Walker Law in February of 2023.

During downtime, Kara enjoys crafting and getting outdoors with family. Kara’s husband, Damon is a devoted fisherman while she enjoys being moral support from the shore. They have two children, Chole and Ian.
